Valve just restocked its refurbished Steam Deck OLEDs, but only for some

512GB OLED Steam Deck models are back in stock for UK gamers who want to get their hands on one of the Valve gaming handhelds for cheap.

The highly desirable refurbished Steam Decks are back, but only if you live in the UK. Of the five available Steam Deck models, only the 512GB OLED is currently back in stock, but its price is heavily reduced to ÂŁ389 (approximately $526) from its ÂŁ479 MSRP.

We still consider the Asus Xbox Ally prepares to launch later this year with a new, simplified version of Windows, purpose-built for handhelds.

Refurbished Steam Decks are considered so desirable because these models have been returned to Valve for fixes and then resold through its official marketplace for well below MSRP.

There is far less risk associated with buying a refurbished Deck from Valve than using a marketplace such as eBay. Valve offers the same one-year warranty as a new Steam Deck with these models, along with a refurbished power supply to ensure it's in good health, and you still get a carry case and quick-start guide too.

While I'm not convinced Valve is right to heavily restrict the places from where Steam Decks can officially be bought, it has created an ecosystem that is quite simple to understand: if you want a Steam Deck, new or refurbished, buy it directly from Valve.

This latest restock of the refurbished 512GB Steam Deck OLED model is exclusive to the UK, but if you're absolutely desperate to get your hands on one in the US, dropshipping could be an option and still save you money versus full MSRP.

You can follow this link to the Steam Store, where at the time of writing, the ÂŁ389 Steam Deck OLED 512GB is the only refurbished model available. At this price, you're only spending ÂŁ40 more than you would spend on a brand new 256GB LCD model.
